Open Peering Exchange Point Information

Open Peering strives to provide uncongested bandwidth at all exchange points. All exchange port bandwidth is monitored and kept within acceptable levels. The network is upgraded constantly, and large peers are moved onto private peering sessions.
When requesting peering with Open Peering at multiple locations, we also request that backbone operators provide enough backhaul bandwidth to handle their peering bandwidth needs.

Changes to the peering policy and existing peerings

Existing peers of AS20562 will have their peering status reviewed periodically to ensure joint capacity planning and to ensure that all criteria continue to be met.

Open Peering reserves the right to terminate peering for convenience, upon a 1 month prior notice or with peers who do not meet the criteria described above.

Periodic review of this policy will be conducted to ensure that the criteria and eligibility requirements are consistent with Open Peering business needs. Open Peering may modify this peering policy at any time.
